Hier stehen zwei gleich aussehende Kuppelbauten: Der <strong>Franz\u00f6sische Dom<\/strong> und der <strong>Deutsche Dom<\/strong>. Aber Achtung! Es handelt sich nicht um Kirchen, der Name Dom\u00a0 deutet nur auf die Architektur der Kuppeln hin. Die Kuppeln dienten lediglich der <strong>Repr\u00e4sentation und Versch\u00f6nerung<\/strong> des Platzes. Zwar standen an dem Platz einst zwei Kirchen, die aber l\u00e4ngst zerst\u00f6rt wurden.<\/p>\n<p>Zwischen den beiden Kuppelbauten steht das m\u00e4chtige Geb\u00e4ude des <strong>Konzerthauses<\/strong>, das ehemalige Schauspielhaus. Nat\u00fcrlich erbaut von Schinkel.
