Heute gehen wir vom Alexanderplatz<\/strong><\/a> zum Roten Rathaus<\/strong>. Es ist das heutige aktuelle Rathaus von Berlin<\/a>, d.h. es ist der Sitz des derzeit amtierenden B\u00fcrgermeisters. Der Name hat nichts mit einer eventuellen Gesinnung oder Partei zu tun, sondern leitet sich ab von der roten Backstein-Bauweise des Geb\u00e4udes.<\/p>\n

Rund um das Rathaus verl\u00e4uft in H\u00f6he der ersten Etage ein Stuck-Fries mit etlichen Handwerker-Motiven.<\/p>\n

Nachdem wir uns das rote Geb\u00e4ude von au\u00dfen angeschaut haben, besichtigen wir das Innere. Es erwartet uns zun\u00e4chst eine gro\u00dfe Eingangshalle mit Treppenaufgang, die allein schon sehr sehenswert ist.<\/p>\n

In den oberen G\u00e4ngen befindet sich eine st\u00e4ndige Ausstellung \u00fcber die Stadt Berlin, z.B. Berlin fr\u00fcher und heute. Man sollte sich dort also getrost eine Stunde Zeit nehmen.<\/p>\n
