Weiter ging es wieder <strong>zur\u00fcck von Messina mit der <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.weltweit-urlaub.de\/rubrik\/faehren\/\" >F\u00e4hre<\/a> nach Villa San Giovanni<\/strong> in der Region <strong>Reggio Calabria<\/strong> in <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.weltweit-urlaub.de\/italien\/kalabrien\/\" >Kalabrien<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Wir sind wieder durch Kalabrien gefahren und haben ein besonderes Ziel in der Region <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.weltweit-urlaub.de\/italien\/basilikata\/\" >Basilikata<\/a> angesteuert: <strong>Maratea<\/strong>. Das war auch ein Geheimtipp von Piero, dem Vater meiner Patentochter. Maratea ist die einzige Region in Basilikata, die am <strong>Tyrrhenischen Meer<\/strong> liegt. Nur 32 km K\u00fcste besitzt Basilikata am Tyrrhenischen Meer, doch diese haben es in sich.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-7453\" title=\"Strand Maratea\" src=\"https:\/\/www.weltweit-urlaub.de\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/Strand-Maratea.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"338\" border=\"1\" \/><br \/>\n<em>ein kleiner Strand an der K\u00fcste von Maratea<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Als wir nach <strong>Maratea<\/strong> kamen, waren wir von der Landschaft und von den kleinen, <strong>romantischen Ortschaften in der Umgebung<\/strong> begeistert. Die <strong>Steilk\u00fcste<\/strong> bietet einen wunderbaren Kontrast zum Meer. Direkt an einem kleinen Strand haben wir unser <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.weltweit-urlaub.de\/service\/hotels\/italien\/basilikata\/\" rel=\"nofollow\" >Hotel<\/a> bezogen und hatten einen <strong>beeindruckenden Blick aufs Meer<\/strong>. Sogar den <strong>Sonnenuntergang<\/strong> konnten wir in vollen Z\u00fcgen genie\u00dfen.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-7451\" title=\"Sonnenuntergang\" src=\"https:\/\/www.weltweit-urlaub.de\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sonnenuntergang2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"338\" border=\"1\" \/><br \/>\n<em>ein traumhafter Sonnenuntergang am Strand von Maratea<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Maratea ist au\u00dferdem f\u00fcr eine <strong>riesige Christusstatue<\/strong> auf einem H\u00fcgel bekannt. Die Christusstatue von einer <strong>H\u00f6he von 22 Metern<\/strong> thront \u00fcber den Felsen der Stadt Maratea. Au\u00dferdem ist bekannt, dass es in der Umgebung und an der K\u00fcste mehrere <strong>H\u00f6hlen<\/strong> gibt. Hier kann man Stalagmiten und Stalaktiten bewundern und H\u00f6hlenexpeditionen machen. Einige der H\u00f6hlen in der Umgebung von Maratea sind noch unerforscht und nicht zug\u00e4nglich.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-7452\" title=\"Christusstatue\" src=\"https:\/\/www.weltweit-urlaub.de\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/Christusstatue.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"338\" border=\"1\" \/><br \/>\n<em>eine 22 Meter hohe Christusstatue thront \u00fcber der K\u00fcste von Maratea<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Wir haben jedenfalls einen sch\u00f6nen Abend in Maratea verbracht. Am n\u00e4chsten Tag haben wir noch ein bisschen den Strand genossen und danach ging es weiter in Richtung Norden zum <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.weltweit-urlaub.de\/italien\/lago-di-bolsena\/\" >Bolsena See<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Nach unserem Aufenthalt in Sizilien haben wir unsere Reise schweren Herzens fortgesetzt und der feurigen Insel im S\u00fcden von Italien den R\u00fccken zugedreht.
