Heute besuchen wir das Schalkenmehrener Maar<\/strong>. Es liegt unmittelbar an der Ortschaft Schalkenmehren in der Vulkaneifel<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Nach einem Rundgang fahren wir weiter zum Holzmaar<\/strong>. Wir umrunden das Holzmaar in einer guten halben Stunde. Ein h\u00fcbsches kleines Maar.<\/p>\n

Danach wandern<\/a> wir vom Parkplatz aus noch weiter zu zwei Trockenmaaren<\/strong>. Zun\u00e4chst zum D\u00fcrren Maar<\/strong>, dann weiter durch die Wiesenlandschaft zum kleinsten Trockenmaar der Eifel, dem Hetschenmaarchen<\/strong>. Es wird auch kurz „Die Hitsche“ genannt und ist lediglich 60 m breit und nur 5 m tief.<\/p>\n
