Nach der Besichtigung der Basilika Vierzehnheiligen<\/a> fahren wir heute nach Bad Staffelstein<\/strong> in Oberfranken.<\/p>\n

Es ist eine kleine idyllische Stadt im oberen Maintal<\/strong> in Franken<\/a> \/ Bayern<\/a><\/strong>, die zum Landkreis Lichtenfels<\/strong> geh\u00f6rt. Durch die Erschlie\u00dfung der w\u00e4rmsten Bayerischen Thermalsole wurde Staffelstein<\/strong> vor einigen Jahren zum Bad<\/strong> erkl\u00e4rt.<\/p>\n

Es wurde ein gro\u00dfer Kurpark<\/strong> mit zwei Sole-Salinen angelegt und das Thermalbad Obermain Therme<\/strong> gebaut. Der Main<\/strong> fliesst etwas abseits durch das breite Tal.<\/p>\n

Weitere Sehensw\u00fcrdigkeiten sind das Rathaus<\/strong>, das Kloster Banz<\/strong> und nat\u00fcrlich der Hausberg der Stadt, der Staffelberg<\/strong>, von dem wir einen wunderbaren Blick auf das St\u00e4dtchen haben.<\/p>\n

Bad Staffelstein<\/strong> ist die Geburtsstadt von Adam Riese<\/strong>, dem vielseitigen Rechenk\u00fcnstler und wird deshalb auch als Adam-Riese-Stadt bezeichnet. Deshalb befinden sich hier in der Innenstadt auch der Gasthof Adam Riese<\/strong> und diesem gegen\u00fcber ein gro\u00dfes Adam Riese-Denkmal<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
