Hiermit m\u00f6chte ich \u00fcber unseren letzten Urlaub im n\u00f6rdlichen Bayern<\/a><\/strong> berichten. Wir fahren mit dem Auto \u00fcber Kassel<\/strong> und Bad Hersfeld<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In Friedewald<\/strong> verlassen wir die Autobahn und sind bald an der Grenze zu Th\u00fcringen<\/strong><\/a> bei Philippsthal<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Wir fahren noch einen Ort weiter nach Vacha<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Schon von der Stra\u00dfe aus sehen wir linkerhand die ber\u00fchmte geschichtstr\u00e4chtige\u00a0 Werra-Br\u00fccke<\/strong>. Am Ende dieser Br\u00fccke verlief einst die deutsch-deutsche Grenze<\/strong>. Parkpl\u00e4tze sind rechts und links der Stra\u00dfe gen\u00fcgend vorhanden, so dass man sich diese heutige Gedenkst\u00e4tte<\/strong> ansehen kann.<\/p>\n

Es handelt sich hier um einen uralten historischen Handelsweg<\/strong>, der sp\u00e4ter auch zum Pilgerweg<\/strong> wurde und heute eine Touristenattraktion ist.<\/p>\n

Am Ausl\u00e4ufer der Br\u00fccke befand sich die einstige Grenze zwischen der Bundesrepublik Deutschand und der Deutschen Demokratischen Republik. Um Fluchtversuche zu verhindern, wurden zu DDR-Zeiten sogar einige Fenster dieses Hauses zugemauert. Davon ist heute zum Gl\u00fcck nichts mehr zu sehen.<\/p>\n

Wir verlassen nun Philippsthal<\/strong> und Vacha<\/strong> und fahren weiter zu m n\u00e4chsten Halt auf unserer Reise durch Th\u00fcringen<\/strong><\/a> nach Bayern<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n
